I'm a professor, teaching Phys 1035 "Energy", Phys 1021 "current topics in physics", and "Phys 3562/5562 Astrophysics II" this semester. I am also the Director of Graduate Studies for UMD's Physics MS program.

I do research with the MINOS, NOvA, HALO, and DUNE neutrino experiments. I have also worked a lot on the Super-Kamiokande (still running) and MACRO (turned off in December 2000) experiments.

Also, I'm participating in SNEWS (Supernova Early Warning System) and its upgrade SNEWS2.0, which is a coincidence monitor of many neutrino experiments to provide early warning of a supernova in our galaxy, and am UMD's representative to the Minnesota Space Grant Consortium.
