BiRa Rack Protection System
The BiRa Rack Protection System (RPS) is a computerized control device
which monitors environmental conditions of the control racks for the detectors.
If any conditions, such as voltage, temperature, etc, deviate from normal
conditions, the RPS will declare an appropriate warning or alarm for that
condition. It will also cut power from a control rack if deviations are far from
normal, thereby protecting a rack from overheating, shorting out, and so
forth. RPS boxes are controled on a remote computer running an iFix
server, respective links are located in the side
